The Placer Sierra Railroad Heritage Society celebrates not only the amazing accomplishment of connecting the country but the beauty and majesty of the events through time.

The Sierra Nevada Mountains have inspired artists for centuries. The writings of John Muir and the photos of Ansel Adams have spurred our imaginations and taken us to an earlier time.  Likewise railroading strikes a romantic chord in all of us.

We are honored to present wonderful art which expresses our love the of area and trains while sharing the talent of our friends.
